Alf has over 30 years experience in the
engineering and construction sector of the conventional oil and gas business.
He has presided over a number of major world-class energy development projects,
which include the first BOOT water supply project in Malaysia in 1987; the
offshore installation, hook-up and commissioning of the Mossgas Project
facilities in South Africa in 1990; and the largest decommissioning project in
the world to date - Shell's Brent Spar in the North Sea in 2000.
He has served as a Consultant in a number of
areas and currently has interests in Sudan, the Middle East and the Far East.
His skills and experience encompass the complete range of oil and gas related
sectors, including drilling, equipment, pipeline design and construction,
offshore installation, construction and commissioning.
He holds Directorships in a number of companies
in the energy sector in the UK, Africa and the Middle East.
